CRuX duo [e] (CRuX, edropsbeats.com) and kevin knapp (CRuX, satelliteSF) started off with a boom! during their debut underground party, and now they’re bringin’ their sound to ya SLOPPY style. HUH? True SLOPPY style is a 3 DJ TAG TEAM with all DJs rotating all night long, so the sound stays fresh, and the party keeps movin’.

[e] will bring a case of Breakbeat and Electro sounds, kevin knapp plans to bring the Tech Nasty beats, and Gabriel Alexander (SLOPPY, TopDown) will throw some Funky House and Breaks into the mix, too.

Big up to elusive (platform sound) for making a cameo appearance with his dirty beats as well. As always… cya on the dance floor!

GROUNDED is an emerging collective of young guns shOOey (In Deep, Spunk), kevin knapp (CRuX, djkevinknapp.com), [e] (CRuX, SLOPPY), and Tim McCormack (FunkyCozy) bringing you a spectrum of beats including Minimal Tech, Tech Nasty, Funky House, Breakbeat, and Electro.

The venue, Rx, is a blasthaus gallery and lounge which opened in 2003 to much acclaim by offering a new approach to merging art and life. The crowd is invariably composed of chill folks, and electronic music headz of all kinds.

Come support, ‘cuz these kidz do it every first friday, and it’s always a down to earth party atmosphere- get GROUNDED.
